E.ON Immersive Work Experience (Clone)

The UK is rebuilding how it makes, moves and uses energy, and it's the biggest transformation project of your generation. This programme takes you inside it, with E.ON as your guide and one of the UK's largest energy companies as your case study.

At the heart of the programme is one project that's yours from start to finish: your Energy World. In Module 1, you'll start cold and create the first version, a future energy system for a community of 100,000 people. In Module 2, you'll meet the real people behind the energy transition and invent a brand-new role your world needs. In Module 3, you'll return as an expert and upgrade your world with the skills you've built. In Module 4, you'll choose your own route into the sector, complete the project and take your finished world away with you. Every module moves your build forward, so completing all four is the only way to see it through.

Along the way you'll take charge of the national grid in a hands-on balancing challenge, sort renewable fact from fiction, take a stance on the real dilemmas energy leaders face, and explore the innovations racing to solve them, from heat pumps to vehicle-to-grid charging. You'll see how E.ON powers millions of homes, generates cleaner energy, heats whole cities and installs the technology of the future, positioned within the wider energy sector and the thousands of careers it's creating.

By the end, you'll understand the energy transition from the inside, have a completed project that shows how you think, and know the routes, apprenticeships, degrees and first jobs that could take you there.
